Chef Furniture is the specialist in Suar tree trunk tables, loose table tops, dining tables and tree trunk coffee tables in the Netherlands. In addition to Suar blades, we also supply Mahogany, Teak, Oak and other hardwood tree trunk blades. A tree trunk table gives your room a luxurious and warm feeling. We do most of the production ourselves and the wood has dried naturally for at least six months and the tree trunk tables then go into the oven for at least 4 weeks, after which they are perfectly finished and treated in our workshop in the Netherlands.

The wooden table tops can be used as a dining table , but they are also perfect as a desk, conference table or, for example, as a kitchen worktop. We also make robust consoles and coffee tables from the same type of wood, which also consist of only one piece of wood. The suar tree trunk tables from Chef Furniture are made from one large piece of wood. Most other tables you find online consist of several separate parts. Our stock always consists of many different types of table tops, which can be seen in our showroom in Meppel, the Netherlands.

Cheffurniture.nl is known for its unique collections of tree trunk tables and unique decorative pieces. Almost all our Suar tree trunk tables or wooden accessories consist of one solid piece of wood and have been dried in the oven for at least 8 weeks.

We have a wide range of custom furniture that is handmade making each table unique. We strive to provide exceptional quality through the means of selling artisan tabletops. Our specialty is of course our tree trunk tables that consist of one piece of suar wood. Nature determines the look of the solid tree trunk tables in an organic and natural way. With many years of experience in the wood industry and having sold more than 2000 tree trunk tables, we have an experienced team where quality comes first and of which we are very proud!

Sustainable Production

We strongly believe in protecting our environment, our solid wood is very durable and therefore contributes to an environmentally friendly home. In addition, we pay extra attention to the use of recycled wood without compromising on its quality. This effort reduces the carbon footprint and helps us fight climate change.

Suarhout, commonly known as Rain Tree, is neither on the CITES Appendices nor on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. This means that when sourced responsibly and ethically, they do not harm our environment. In the NSCSS, rain trees are classified as G5, which means that they are widespread, abundant and in no danger of extinction.

In addition to our solid suar wooden tree trunk tables, we also have tables made of teak, mahogany, acacia, oak. All these types of wood are also FSC certified. This means that it is sustainable and that responsible forest management is encouraged.
